About Darren
My name is Darren, and I’m a classically trained artist, musician, and SAG/AFTRA actor with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago.
From a young age, I excelled in the restaurant industry, then earned my Illinois real estate broker's license. I obtained numerous desktop publishing certifications and began classes in Adobe Creative Cloud, studying branding and lead generation from the #1 Broker in Illinois for eight consecutive years. This experience cemented my lifelong commitment to service.
As Head of Security for a popular nightclub, I stayed sharp and vigilant. After achieving on-camera and modeling success with talent agents in California and Chicago, I became active in my community through touring children's theatre, puppetry for public schools, and holiday caroling concerts at the Little City Foundation for the developmentally challenged in Palatine, IL.
While opening restaurants as a corporate restaurant trainer, I appeared in television commercials for products like Tostitos, Ford Trucks, and Bud Light, print campaigns for LensCrafters and State Farm, and on-camera for productions like Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Batman vs. Superman, the Divergent series, and more.
When I'm not helping entrepreneurs enhance their brand with omni-channel marketing, I’m drawing a comic book, developing drone presentations for luxury real estate, and working on my third science fiction novel. Currently, I’m volunteering with my free mobile puppetry service for children’s hospitals.
